Green Building Dashboard
Green building technologies and energy/resource utilization tracking are huge in building design and construction. This Building Dashboard is used at the University of Virginia to show residents the metrics of their electricity and water usage.

From the Lucid Design Group:
Building Dashboard® offers a wide range of options for displaying the performance of your building. Electricity, water and natural gas consumption, as well as solar electricity production, solar thermal production, rainwater use and greywater recycling can be displayed in real time, in a single location on the web.
Unique combinations of building-by-building or floor-by-floor comparisons, timescales and unit equivalents allow you to express resource use in a variety of ways. Energy use can be instantly converted into dollars spent or equivalent number of lightbulbs used, while water use can be expressed in bottles of water and minutes of shower use – either per person or for the entire building.
In addition to real-time resource use information, Building Dashboard® includes live weather conditions and daily forecasts, community events calendars and green tips for effectively reducing consumption.
