This Xcelsius dashboard is controlled by voice commands. The implementation won the award for “coolest” use of the technology in a Business Objects contest.

COOLEST USE OF BUSINESS OBJECTS TECHNOLOGY

• Grand prize - Zaidan Alaoui - “Control an Xcelsius dashboard using voice”

The dashboard displays some physical characteristics of salt water and compares them to the physical characteristics of fresh water. Data displayed by the dashboard can be changed vocally or manually by modifying the temperature, the pressure and the salinity.
