This demo of the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services shows off the new features of the Report Builder. A sample report is built using the new interface. By building a basic report, various elements of the report builder interface is explained.

Some of the new features of this August 2008 release include:

  • Tablix layout capabilities
  • Enhanced performance and scalability
  • MS Word formatted report output
  • Reporting Services integration with MS Office Sharepoint Services
  • Reports with RFT
  • Enhanced graphing capabilities
